The Way back to God

 1. God is the creator of all things visible and invisible. (Colossians 1.16)

2. When Gid made the first human being, Adam, he put him in The Garden of Eden and gave him a single law: “The Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every fruit of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day you eat of it you shall surely die.”” (Genesis 2.16)

3. But the first man did not keep God’s law and, as a result, earned the curse of suffering and death. (Genesis 3)

4. The curse of suffering and death goes on to affect the descendants of Adam and Eve since mankind inherits her nature from him. (Romans 5.14)

5. Practically, once a person fails to do what God commands he becomes a child of Satan. (1 John 3.8).

6. If he turns from the sin, repent, and turns back to God, he becomes, once more, the child of God. (Mathew 3.2)

7. To receive forgiveness for sins, a price is required since the Word of God states that “The soul that sins shall die.” (Ezekiel 18.20)

8. No human being can pay the price for his sin since he has to be sinless, perfect, to offer himself but he is not perfect at all as the Word of God states: “There is none righteous, no not one.” (Romans 3.23)

9. This is where Jesus Christ steps in. He pays the price for the redemption of all mankind. (1 Peter 3.18)

10. Jesus willingly gave himself: “I lay down my life that I may take it again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself.” John 10.17-18)

11. Thus, Jesus died and shed his blood so human beings would obtain forgiveness from God for their sins: “This is my blood of the New Covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.” (Mathew 28.28)

12. “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.” (Acts 3.36)

13. “As many as received him, to them he gave the power to become the children of God.” (John 1.12)

14. If you do not already have a local congregation of Christians or a Church, please go to the nearest congregation and you can continue your Christian walk from there.

15. It does happen that people outgrow their congregation form their maturing faster in the teachings and may find themselves so far spiritually more enlightened. That is no problem at all. Ask God to show you the next step. It may be you have to start serving or that you have to do some work that needs to be done.

16. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.” 2 Corinthians 13.14)

Understanding The Old Testament & The New Testament

Purpose Very commonly Christians, when they talk about The Old Testament & The New Testament, tend to not really    differentiate between the two,    but see them as equally valid instructions while at the same time saying they are different. My aim is to provide an accurate perspective of what the Old Testament & The New Testament are in relation to each other and how they can  be understood taken together.  Introduction The Holy Bible is divided into two main sections or books: The Old Testament & The New Testament. These two books are related. At the same time, they are not the same. Each serve a different but connected purpose in the plan of God for human beings. What is The Old Testament Sometime in the course of human history, after people have been on this earth for a few generations, God, the creator of Heaven and Earth, came to Abraham. God spoke to him: “”God had told Abram, “Leave your own country behind you, and your own people, and ...

Questions with Answers

1. Question : Can you give money to God?  Answer : No. God wants something different. “"I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please him; it is the logical “Temple worship” for you.”" Romans 12.1 2. Question : Why do we keep hearing "You are cursed with a curse" of Malachi 3.9 from the pulpit when people are being requested  to give?   Answer : No one should be reading or citing that scripture as the verse for giving. The verse is no longer true today as we are no longer under the law. "The Law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus the Messiah." John 1.17. As well, it is not possible to curse God's people: "I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you.” Genesis 12.3.  Further, there is no compulsion in giving in the church. "Each should give according to what he has decided in his heart, not grud...

Some Differences between Old Testament Worship & New Testament Worship

"May grace and peace be yours in full measure, as you come to a full knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord." 2 Peter 1:2   Purpose of Writing : An understanding of the differences between The Old Testament and The New Testament will help to illustrate the point that we are in The New Testament, and no longer in the Old    Testament. This means we should live according to The New Testament teachings alone. Old Testament Worship  - There was present one, only one, Tabernacle, later transformed into a sole Temple; a specific geographical location and site was approved for worship for the entire nation; a particular family, the Levites, was chosen to serve as ministers referred to as Levites and Priests; a singular High Priest was appointed who, up to a time, was also the temporal head of the nation. There were Prophets, appointed directly by God & who operated outside the system of Levitical priesthood & the Temple structure but who, at times, also were inside it ...
